*Rahul Mishra Celebrates Artisanal Excellence at Paris Haute Couture Week with Tanishq*
Designer Rahul Mishra showcased his stunning couture collection, “We the People,” at the Paris Haute Couture Week, celebrating the artisans who brought the looks to life with their exceptional craftsmanship. Each piece in the collection averaged around 3,000 hours of craftsmanship, highlighting the dedication and skill of the artisans involved.
As part of the event, Tanishq unveiled its exquisite collection of rare diamonds and colored gemstones, “Tales of Mystique,” which debuted on the runway. Inspired by the majestic palaces and cityscapes of Rajasthan, the collection features 60 stunning jewelry creations that showcase intricate craftsmanship and contemporary silhouettes.
The collaboration between Rahul Mishra and Tanishq celebrates the artistry and craftsmanship of Indian artisans. “This collection marks another milestone in Tanishq’s journey to become the preferred jeweler for the connoisseur who is well-traveled and seeking to add to her repertoire,” said Ranjani Krishnaswamy, General Manager of Marketing at Tanishq.
Bollywood celebrity Diana Penty attended the show, sitting in the front row wearing a couture corset by Rahul Mishra. The opulent corset was embellished with 3D gold fish, appliques, and waterfalls of beading, paired with blue jeans to present a more wearable take on Mishra’s work ¹.
