UNITED NATIONS DAY ON OCT 24The United Nations Day will be celebrated in the State on Friday, October 24, 2025. On this day, the United Nations Flag is required to be flown along-with the National Flag in the State Capital and the District Headquarters on all building where the National Flag is flown regularly in terms of para 3.36 of the Flag Code of India 2002.
Government has directed that all the Government Departments/ Offices/ Public Sector undertaking at Panaji and District Headquarters which are expected to fly the National Flag regularly need to fly the United Nations Flag along with the National Flag on October 24, 2025.
The United Nations Flag will not be flown on Raj Bhavan and the building housing the Legislative Assembly and High Court.
