PorvoriM: The Goa State Legal Services Authority, in collaboration with the Goa High Court Bar Association, recently organized a workshop on Forensic Evidence at Porvorim, focusing on the critical role of forensic science in combating narcotics trafficking.
Dr. Andre Fernandes, Head of Department, Forensic Medicine, delivered a presentation on “Types of Narcotics & their Detection”, while Smt. Shraddha Malvankar, Scientific Officer, shared her expertise on “Scientific Analysis of Narcotics (NDPS Narcotics)”.
The workshop highlighted the importance of forensic evidence in building strong cases against narcotics offenders. Experts emphasized the need for specialized training and equipment to detect and analyze narcotics, ensuring effective prosecution and justice delivery.
